Today for work I flew to North Carolina and back again in the same day, which made the day seem very long, and which (assuming you’ve reached an age where time does nothing but accelerate) might be something to recommend work travel even if (like me) you’re constantly worried about crashing alone, without the people/cats you love by your side (not that I want them to crash, either, but if I go down in a plane, I want to be on my way somewhere NICE, so that I don’t end up in “spreadsheet hell”). I have like a million blog posts to read in order to catch up, is what I’m really saying.
